Honey Glazed Ham

Honey Glazed Ham

Ingredients
  • 1 fully cooked spiral ham (8–10 lbs)
  • 1 cup Mountain Ridge Honey
  • 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
  • 1⁄3 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar or orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Optional: orange slices and rosemary for garnish

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Place the ham cut-side down in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  2. Bake according to package instructions (usually about 10 minutes per pound).
  3. Meanwhile, make the glaze: In a saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon, vinegar (or orange juice), cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of baking, uncover the ham and brush generously with the glaze.
  5. Repeat brushing every 10 minutes until the ham is glossy and caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven, rest for 10 minutes, slice, and serve with extra warm glaze.

Notes
• For a deeper flavor, broil the ham for 2–3 minutes at the end to caramelize the glaze even more.
