Share
Ingredients
- 1 fully cooked spiral ham (8–10 lbs)
- 1 cup Mountain Ridge Honey
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄3 cup Dijon mustard
- 1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar or orange juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
- Optional: orange slices and rosemary for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Place the ham cut-side down in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Bake according to package instructions (usually about 10 minutes per pound).
- Meanwhile, make the glaze: In a saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon, vinegar (or orange juice), cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- During the last 30 minutes of baking, uncover the ham and brush generously with the glaze.
- Repeat brushing every 10 minutes until the ham is glossy and caramelized.
- Remove from the oven, rest for 10 minutes, slice, and serve with extra warm glaze.
Notes
• For a deeper flavor, broil the ham for 2–3 minutes at the end to caramelize the glaze even more.
