Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup Mountain Ridge Honey
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Mix in Mountain Ridge Hot Honey, egg, and vanilla until fully combined.
- Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until the dough comes together.
- Scoop and bake: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers should look slightly soft — they’ll set as they cool.
- Cool and enjoy: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Tips
