Honey Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup Mountain Ridge Honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.
  3. Cream butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add wet ingredients: Mix in Mountain Ridge Hot Honey, egg, and vanilla until fully combined.
  5. Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until the dough comes together.
  6. Scoop and bake: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers should look slightly soft — they’ll set as they cool.
  8. Cool and enjoy: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Tips
  • For extra flavor, drizzle warm cookies with a touch of Mountain Ridge Honey before serving.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days
