Honey Spiced Tea

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags (or your favorite tea)
  • 2 tbsp Mountain Ridge Honey
  • 1 small cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)
  • 2 slices fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Water:
    • In a small saucepan, bring the water, cinnamon stick, ginger, and cloves to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the spices.
  2. Brew the Tea:
    • Add the tea bags to the spiced water and let steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  3. Sweeten with Honey:
    • Remove the tea bags and strain out the spices (if desired).
    • Stir in the Mountain Ridge Honey until fully dissolved.
  4. Add Optional Lemon:
    • If using, stir in the lemon juice for a citrusy twist.
  5. Serve:
    • Pour the tea into mugs and enjoy it hot. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or lemon slice if desired.
